I am soon to graduate from Texas Tech University with degrees in Biochemistry and Animal Science. I will be starting my PhD studies in the Biology department. My goal is to study the relationships between microbes in the rumen of ruminant animals and how those relationship affect the cattle in order to increase sustainability of our food supply. I live on a small farm with my three sons. Photography is my stress relief and means of focus. It helps me get away from all the noise around me and in my head.

I love looking at the world from different points of view. If you are going to stand on the shoulders of giants, you should really know what they look like up close and from a distance, to better judge how far you can fall.
